The Loyalty Rewards Program commences January 16th at 11:59pm, any orders placed after this point will receive points. Points can be earned from both online and in-store purchases on eligible products but can only be redeemed in-store.
Great Lakes Refill Company Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
By becoming a Member of the GLRC Loyalty Rewards Program in Canada (“Loyalty Program”), Members agree to receive advertising, marketing materials and other communications from GLRC Canada, except where expressly disallowed as a profile preference. By enrolling in the Loyalty Program, Members agree to all of the terms and conditions of the Loyalty Program (the “Terms”). Membership rules are void to the extent prohibited by law. Provincial and federal fees and taxes may apply purchases by Members where required by law.
GLRC Canada may terminate, modify or change the Loyalty Program rules, regulations, benefits, conditions of participation or point levels for earning free promotional rewards (“Rewards”), in whole or in part, at any time without notice, even though changes may affect the points already accumulated. Unless prohibited by law, GLRC Canada may change or terminate Loyalty Program partners or withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any Reward, increase the points required for earning any free promotional Reward, modify or regulate the transferability of Rewards or benefits, institute or add Reward blackout dates or limit the number of Rewards for use by any one individual on any one purchase. GLRC Canada reserves the right to make Loyalty Program points and other promotional offers available to select Members based on purchase activity, geographic location, Loyalty Program participation or information supplied by the Member. GLRC’s Loyalty Reward program is not available to our wholesale customer accounts or affiliated members.
Members earn points (“Points”) for every dollar spent on Eligible Product Purchases excluding Gift Card purchases and Jar Deposits.
Members will also have opportunities to earn Points through the Member’s participation in various activities, including, but not limited to: participating in workshops, social media engagement, attending events.
Members also have the ability to periodically earn Bonus Points. Bonus Points help a Member earn promotional Rewards faster. Bonus Points are rewarded based on discretionary purchases announced by GLRC.
The Loyalty Program is a promotional offer and free to enroll.
For every 50,000 Points Members earn in the Loyalty Program, Members will be eligible to receive a free promotional Reward redeemable for $5.00 off the purchase of any eligible products in-store only at participating Great Lakes Refill Company (“GLRC”) retail store locations. Rewards are automatically added to Member’s rewards account (“Loyalty Rewards Account”) after earning 50,000 Points. Multiple Rewards earned at the same time are automatically combined in Loyalty Rewards Account.
Rewards are not valid on prior purchases, certain products and services, purchase of GLRC Gift Cards and eGift Cards or for tax or other fees. Rewards are for promotional purposes only and are not redeemable for cash and no change/currency will be given for Reward redemption. Members may be notified of additional ineligible products and services. Other restrictions may apply. Lost, stolen, or expired Rewards will not be replaced.
Rewards are not transferable and may not be combined among Members or conveyed by any means to anyone. Rewards are not transferable through a Member’s estate and may not pass to Members’ successors and assigns. Rewards do not constitute property of the Member.
Abuse of the Loyalty Program, including failure to follow these Terms, policies and procedures, the sale or barter of Rewards, products, Points or other promotional offers, using multiple Loyalty Program accounts in an effort to abuse the Loyalty Program and any misrepresentation of fact relating thereto or other improper conduct, as determined by GLRC in its sole judgment, may result in cancellation of the Member's Rewards Account, future disqualification from Loyalty Program participation, forfeiture of all points accrued, and cancellation of previously issued but unused Rewards. In connection with the enforcement of any of the Terms governing the Loyalty Program, GLRC reserves the right to take appropriate legal action as it deems necessary to recover damages, legal fees and court costs.
GLRC reserves the right to interpret and apply the policies and procedures communicated in these Terms. All determinations by GLRC shall be final and conclusive in each case. These Terms supersede all previously published terms and conditions.
Members do not receive Points for the amount of any Rewards redeemed or discounts applied. When Members return products, Points previously posted to the Member's Rewards Account for that purchase will be forfeited. Other exclusions may apply. Points apply only to the first Loyalty Program number input in connection with any purchase.
GLRC is not responsible for communications, including Rewards, lost due to change of address or other contact information. Points that remain on Member's Rewards Account are forfeited if the Loyalty Program is terminated or the Member's Rewards Account is closed due to inactivity or for any other reason and will not be reinstated upon reactivation of a Member’s Rewards Account. In the event that a Member returns merchandise that was partially or wholly paid for with a Reward, the Reward used in connection with such a purchase will be reissued for use with the original expiry date.
A Member can view his, her or their Loyalty Rewards Account activity by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for a statement.
By enrolling in the Loyalty Program, Members agree that: (i) you will contact us directly and give us the opportunity to try to resolve any and all disputes before you take any action in court or otherwise; (ii) to the extent permitted by law, any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Program shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (iii) any and all Member claims, judgments and awards shall in no event include legal fees; and (iv) and to the extent permitted by law, under no circumstances will Member be permitted to obtain awards for, and Member hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
A Member may cancel his or her Membership at any time by notifying GLRC by email at email@example.com or call 519-491-6446 during regular business hours.
If there is no Member Rewards Account activity or Points earned from any source posted to a Member's Rewards Account for twenty-four (24) consecutive months, the Member’s Rewards Account will be closed, including forfeiture of all accrued Points.
If a court of competent jurisdiction or any government agency determines that any provision of these Terms is void or unenforceable, that provision will continue to be enforceable to the extent permitted by that court or agency, and the remainder of that provision will no longer be considered as part of these Terms. However, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.
We can delay enforcing our rights under these Terms without losing the right to do so in the future. In addition, our failure to exercise our rights on any one occasion, or even on more than one occasion, does not constitute a waiver of our rights for any future occasion. All waivers must be in writing.
