Mulled Wine

Mulled wine is warming and great for a crowd or couple! It is simple to make and requires only a few ingredients. You can also swap wine for apple cider to make a delicious non alcoholic warm beverage for all ages. You can find mulling spice in store & on sale this week. You can also find local maple syrup in our fridge section!


1 bottle of dry red wine or apple cider

1/4 cup brandy (omit for apple cider)

2 tbsp local maple syrup

1 large orange - sliced

5 tsp mulling spice

Instructions: Add all ingredients to a pot or slow cooker and heat over low heat for 30 min to 3 hours. Be sure to not let the mixture bubble after it has heated.

Strain out the mulling spice and serve in mugs with the orange slices on top.
