End of Summer Smoothie

I think there might be a theme to the last two weeks - but when it’s this warm out, you want to cool off with something that is delicious and nutritious. At GLRC, we sell frozen strawberries, blueberries and peaches - the perfect base for a great smoothie. Do you happen to have some frozen fruit that you picked earlier this summer? Add it in! 
2 cups of frozen fruit (mix it up or stick with your favourite)
1 fresh banana
1 1/2 cups of milk (coconut, almond or regular)
Now add in your superfoods!
2 tbsp of chia seeds, ground flax seed, or hemp hearts
Sweeten to taste with your choice of sweetener - I recommend Ryan's Maple Syrup, Twin Bridges Honey or some pitted dates.
Add everything to a blender, mix on high and serve. This makes approximately 2 servings. Enjoy!
