Join Us on October 27th for Let's Talk Local Food
We are excited to be co-hosting an event with Chef Paresh from Personal Touch Eatery and Catering on Monday October 27 at 6 pm at the Sarnia Library Theatre.
This event is several months (or even years) in the making. Chef P and I are always talking about Canadian products in the store, how I source them, and how he uses them in his restaurant and catering. We want to host an event where we talk a bit about the process and then taste some of his creations using the ingredients discussed as well.
With that in mind, we will spend the first half of the event in the theatre, talking about local foods: where things grow and why, how they come to be in the store, as well as some suggestions for different ways that these ingredients can be used.
For the second half of the event, we will make our way into the Library Foyer and sample some of Chef Paresh’s creations, using the ingredients we’ve discussed.
