A.W. Conservation Area

Featured this week on let's get outside is...A.W. Conservation Area in Alvinston!

This conservation area is managed by St. Clair Conservation Authority. Trails crisscross through the area taking you through a deciduous forest and floodplain. Over 8 km of trails lead you along Morrough Creek where a host of wildflowers and interesting tree species can be observed such as the blue ash.

Always remember to:

• Pack out what you pack in
• Walk single file when passing
• Yield to hikers coming uphill
• Respect wildlife
• Stay on the trail
